first day working a truckmount !!
« on: December 09, 2010, 06:16:19 pm »
well gave the baby 1st run today on 3 paying  jobs , left the ninja at home so it was all or nothing  ;D

1st house two large rugs and runners , after fighting with the hoses  to get them in the house all went well only problem was found i was a bit of a wimp trying to keep pressing the hand tool at 400 psi - ist lesson learnt drop the psi lol when on hand tool

2nd job - h.s.l and bedroom - went ok found a knack to tame the hoses better  :D

3rd job lounge and kitchen , could park right outside the door so in true sas style i run into the front room with pre spray and hose in hand then back out to fire up and get wand - cleaned a treat hot steam everywhere ( not seen that on the ninja for years ! out the door all rolled up super quick .

well happy on the 3rd job - now i can see the time saving that comes with the TM

so after my  first day on the TM , im shattered lol and think i my need to get down the gym to build up to running into houses with a 50 mtr hose under each arm  ;)

Hi Guys

Going from Porty to TM is a big jump, I did itafter 20 plus years.

In a few weeks you will look back and wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

I also found that the aches and pains stopped because it was the moving of the porty rather than the cleaning which was the problem.

Cheers

Doug

welcome to the club, you'll never leave, same with aches and pains, heaviest thing I lift now is the hoses and wand and possibly a air mover, Wait till you use the Ninja again you wonder is it switched on.

i m a bit like a kid at christmas i keep going out to fire it up  ::)
must admit the first job i was thinking have i done the right thing as spent the most part untangling the bloddy hose - it was like a anaconda - the custy must of had a good laugh as im sure it was round my neck a few times  :-[ but the 3rd job i tamed the hose and was in and out - bish bosh taking the dosh  ;)
