Where there's a will there's a way!
« on: November 29, 2010, 03:48:47 pm »
Don't know about you lot, but I'm getting around things somehow.

I'm actually making water in my kitchen now.
The filter setup was only just outside anyway, so I found that it would reach the tank from the kitchen surface, and the waste pipe goes out the catflap. ;D
No leaks so far, and I'll only run it when I'm here, but at least it's water!

As far as transfer goes, had to pour hot water over tank outlet for ages to thaw it, and kept the transfer hose inside. So I'm now filling up too.

An hour and half to thaw it all in the morning and work looks a possibility...!
Thank god I had the shops to do today to start the week off though.

All fun and games isn't it? ;D

Well you've conquered the cold snap, was just wondering if you've managed to do the same with your tax return before 30th January!  ;D

Sure thing.  I finally went out around midday.  I think I would have bewen wasting my time and effort before that due to temperature.  If I can get a few afternoons in on the worst days I will consider that I've done OK.
Glad to hear you are managing alright Roger.

Yeah, no problem last year either. Probably saved too much actually.

Haven't necessarily conquered the cold either!
Yes I've managed to do all the things I need to, but still dependant on the temperature.

Today it only got above freezing between 2 and 4pm.
Still, if I can do two hours a day all week I'll make enough to get by.
