would you be better with somthing like this to start with as it would save you at least a grand that could be put towards advertising .

Joe

thats why its a full pump service at every 300 hrs at about £200 i dont think thats bad considering the time its saves

thanks Robert

It will back to microsplitters so got a big learning curve been using to lots of additives in my tank. mind you i think thats why the pump went on the ninja. putting the old machine up for sale once i get a new pump mounting bracket on Monday. fitted new 400 psi pump what an easy job.

respect

Had a stinker today and was very surprised to find One Step giving a result when others had failed. A while since I used it as my first choice and instead of the recommended mist spray / aggitate, I added it to the tank with hot water and at 500 psi it cut through a lot of oily / greasy mess with relative ease.

What did you try on it before that didn't work Robert?
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Paul depends where you want to take it how you want to transport it and what your planning to clean with it I think the lightest is the airflex mini then the aqua 40 plus
the prochem steampro is bloody hard work taking up and down stairs  and is to big
for a car

Using the Craftex Grace, seem to be a good enough machine but early days yet with it, The trigger on the wands is really bad design and the hardfloor wand is crap build quality, the dirty water dump isnt as good as the shut off type ,

Used to have a CFR, great machine but I hope you dont have too many pump problems with all that dirty recycled water passing through.

I've never really understood the logic behind recycling dirty water within a carpet cleaning machine ???

Maybe if you were using/saving 100's, 1000's or millions of litres of water, fair enough....

I am prepared to be enlightened and educated by owners of CFR machines!!!!

The way I understand it is that you already clean with dirty water using HWE. As soon as you spray from the wand into the carpet there is a dirty puddle that is then vacuumed out.

With the amount of water flushed through with the wonder wand and eco500 the results are not noticeably different to using equivalent heat/pressure on a non recycling powrflite unit.

The only downside to Eco unit would be if there was significant contamination urine etc. You would then need to use a spotting machine first or change the water.

I dont think the Scorpion is "plastic".

Whats the Alltec made of?
Something that makes it very heavy I am sure.

I think Alltec still use fibreglass. It's a while since I owned one and they were / are heavy. Good machines though.

Always felt a machines performance was the most important factor and " cute looks " were of no conseqence. With most machines now being left in vans or certainly outside properties, their looks are irrelevent to the client.

I have one of the ugliest machines ever made........but it does what it's asked to do.......clean carpet !!

PS

It's stainless steel but covered in a hideous blue paint
