You saw from the pic then? lol

Not sure how much gas i've used this week, not sure how you check the quantity of gas left in the bottle. I was under the impression it would last alot more than 28 hours :-\

My first 19Kg bottle lasted a month.

Since then I throttled it back and now only use it on conny roofs, gutter jobs and new cleans.

Matt,

Was that using it 5 days a week and with an actual cleaning time of about 3-4 hours?

5 days a week for 5 hours a day I guess and set fairly high but obviously not too high to crack the glass.

Keeping the flame down will help to stretch it out a bit.

tony i was speaking to a work colleague today and he looked at the picture on the tread. he advised that it may be a good idea to have some drop down holes installed since propane gas is heavier than air.  ;)

To comply with all the rules regulations and  laws we having today the gas is meant to be carried in a covered container with vent holes in the bottom that allow venting to the outside of the vehicle. Additionally there arent meant to be any alternative ignition sources in the locality of the gas, batteries are ignition sources  ;)

The vehicle is meant to be ventilated as well, that doesnt mean leaving the doors open.

And the gaas bottle secured.

Yea when reading up on all this I thought to myself forget it, I've cleaned in the snow and I find that as long as you keep the water flowing the minibore doesn't freeze up. I'm happy with cold water, it's not ideal, but it's a lot cheaper if you factor everything in. Yea you might make more money because you can work quicker, but on maintenance cleans it's not going to be much quicker.
