Gardiners Liquid Logic controller
« on: November 24, 2010, 07:47:37 am »
Spent yesterday evening plumbing in and wiring in a second reel and pole for my van.

However, Im having problems calibrating the controller. Running through the porcedure to calibrate it after 'CAL' the display shows PS, which according to the instructions means that the pump isnt connected, which isnt the case, the pump is connected. The pump works if I bypass the controller, problem with that is it runs at full throttle.

Can anyone clue me up on getting past the PS stage as so far with the pump wired into the controller Im getting no action at all on the pump.

TIA

Matt

I cant CAL it yet, it wont get that far, we hit CAL and then PS comes up.

What do you mean if the brown wire isnt right? Loose connection?

yea,  i had to by pass the fuse as was having loads of problems with it,  make sure it is wired up as above,  u should then just have to turn it on and it should start,

as along as it is getting a live and neg from battery  the controll will come on,  the prob will be with the wires to pump,

try when u press cal  up it to 45 and press set and see what happens

No mate.

Alex rang me and we went through a couple of things. So no luck there unfortunately, good custy service though hey!

The manufacturer is meeting with Alex coincidentally and he'll get him to give me a ring at 9 oclock,

Other than that its probably a duff unit.

On mine ps means the pressure switch has activated  because the brush isn't turned on. Ight be a silly question are you doing the cal with the brush or water flow running?

There isnt water flowing never has been water flowing and I dont expect water to be flowing as its going back to gardiners once the replacement arrives.

Not a total disaster as I just used the pump on a 'stand-alone' basis.

Everything got rinsed as well as it was ever likely to be rinsed and I just ran between windows. It was quite good really because that way my tank-water couldnt last longer than 2 1/2 hours and I then had to go home  ;D
