surely everthing is as at your finger tips on the internet or a call to acas,hse,hmrc etc etc

You're right but I don't mind sitting in a room and listening to someone telling us all the facts and figures; and there's refreshments too

I've heard of them. From what i know they deal with H&S,legal and HR issues for companies who can not do it in house or need some expertese. Probably other stuff as well. They'll audit your company ,advise you how to comply with the law and how to sack an employee correctly !! ACAS have heard of them too !!

yes based in manchester, a nursery i clean is a relation of the owner, thought i knew them
