Metal hose reel reducers
« on: October 31, 2010, 08:32:45 pm »
I splashed out last month on two metal hose reels ( first decent ones I have ever bought).

I forgot to get the reducers that go onto the hose in the middle of the reel and now I have a problem, I don't know what size my hoses are. I think they are 8mm internal but I have not measured them.

What is the difference between Minibore & microbore (in millimetres) and if I order the wrong size can it be heated and stretched onto the one that may be too big.

I haven't got a clue!! but need to finish the order off

Many thanks

Rob ;D

where are reducers from? I did not know i needed the, or indeed they did them. I just heated my hose up and forced it onto the outlet and fastened with a jubilee clip.At the time I was fuming, saying what a w!$K idea it was
