fake tan

Is it still one of the stains we cannot remove or has sombody discoverd a way of removing it? Got a bedroom carpet with it on tomoro afternoon.

Hi Dave,

You can remove it sometimes using ammonia and peroxide, takes ages thought and you have to be careful. There is an article about doing it on our site.

Interesting article. How many times have you achieved success with this? Also this method will not remove the spot, just bleach it out so, as you state care is needed.

Hi,

If they are prepared to pay the premium of having us try then generally we can make the spots much better. Maybe 75% total removal, 25% improvement. It depends on the colour, its easy on a yellow/orange coloured wool. White you can make it much better but will see the mark.

Yeah you need to be careful operating bleaching as always.
