vat is a hidden extra

why is it when you look on ebay at motors people hide the vat it should be included in the price or clearly displayed  >:( >:( it anoying you see a nice motor you email the seller and they tell you their is vat to be added to the price

its not just ebay,   wc suppliers and garages are the same,

thats one of the reasons it took me so long to find a van, you look in your price range then find they want £1500 vat.

Any trade sales are plus vat, rather than inclusive ,i.e jewsons, travis etc because any one vat reg, is only interested in the before vat price, because we get the vat back.

yes i know that but for the people that are not vat registered it should be clearly displayed vat included or vat excluded not just surprise you when you ask im sure the law states it needs to be clearly displayed

oh ok yes thats not good. most suppliers mark it  excludes vat, well we do!
