« on: October 16, 2010, 04:40:42 pm »
Does anyone else go canvassing on a sunday? Would you be bothered if i knocked on your door on a sunday? The only reason i ask is because iv asked a few other wc's and they said they would tell me to p**s off  ;D

Canvassing at the weekend catches more people in. So what if you get told to P**s off. You got to be a bit thick skinned.

Wouldn't bother me if someone knocked on my door on a Sunday. You're not breaking any laws so go for it!

Wont know unless you try.  Might surprise you, thinking about it, it could work to your advantage, normally one of the days that people would think, right got to clean the windows at the weekend.

good on ya mate. Spend your time on a weekend with your family mate. I found out yesterday one of my best mates has cancer and it doesnt look good. he is 34. lifes too short. enjoy every moment you can when you can with your nearest and dearest. If you are paying your bills, build the extra business up during the week mate.
UP to you mate.
imo thats my advice.
glad its going well for you.

If canvassing on a Sunday feels riskier, just charge double time.

I've found that a lot more people are out on a weekend compared to my usual domestic canvassing time of about 5.30 to 7.30pm weekdays.
