Get in,i quoted on 3300 odd sq foot today,i said £725,for h,w,e they just called me back to say if i drop it to,£675,the job is mine,quality,it`s all pretty clean carpet tiles,they have replaced the worst of them,going to take me the best part of the day,but not complaining at that,think i will have enough cash to get a low rpm buffer once they pay me

Well I'd saythat at £2.20 per sq metre you have done well enough.

Yeah worked it out at over £900 to start with,but thought i really could do with the work,so went in a bit lower,and would rather people called back and negotiated a price,as it`s not going to cost me much in chemicals, i was recommended buy one of the letting agents i do a lot of work for,so i knew i was in with a good chance of getting it

Thinking about possibly hire of one for a day,see how i get on,i have used them in the past,but only on hard floors,back in my chef day`s used them on kitchen floors,seriously looking into hard floor training,as i have heard what a lot of people pay out for having theirs treated,makes what i earn small time !!
Could have done with one on a job this morning,pale 80/20 lounge carpet,1 year old,2 dogs,never seen anything like it,used multi pro,hen had to use ultra pac,then some solvex in front of the sofas,was still not overly impressed when i left,but custy strangely was over the moon,had used my duo also,think some of it was dye bleed from a rug,she had also used a vax in the past,was worried about foaming,as u,pac is pretty bad,but all was ok

Phew what a day !! Decided i would hwe the 3300 sq foot today,started at 9am,was there until 3.30,all went very very well,think i have a customer for life there 
All was going swimmingly until i had the last 10 sq ft,to do,and one of my sol hoses popped,been meaning to get it fixed,no prob though,just swapped an end over,and got the last bit done.Think they will get me back to do the other 3300 sq ft after they have moved offices,they also said they wouldn`t have bothered changing the stained tiles,after they saw the results,how much is a carpet tile out of interest ?

Might be in your intrest now o go and buy a l m padding system mate for the next one,much less chance of wick back and dry quicker and far less noise

Yes will be looking into a buffer Clinton,they had had another quote though for lm,and today she said she went with mine as she thought it would come up cleaner   

Trouble is i am prob getting close to my max weight on my van,so if i did get a buffer i would have to take my snail out,as won`t be getting a transporter for at least another 2 years.
Also need another laser measure,as i have left mine somewhere,god knows where

I was taking it easy if i am honest !! Carpet was pretty clean really,could have done it quicker,but didn`t want to take the pee.,so had plenty of breaks,give myself and the machine a bit of a rest,building is only a couple of years old,if that,but it`s a very very posh company,will upload some pics later,as gotta go and help my wife with her language schools contract in Cambridge,as she has had another tough day at uni
