That's why I asked. You could Silicone the edges and screw holes I reckon. Maybe the strapping eyes too.

Not picked it up yet. Getting it on Saturday then I'm going to have to work out where to put all the crap and screw it all together ready for the tank. Got to be back on the road and working as soon as possible. I was hoping to carry on with the Dispatch for a couple of weeks but insuring two is ridiculous.
Have to say I don't want to change again in a hurry - the costs just spiral. Insurance companies have us by the protectaballs! (as do the garages)

The tank is rather a lot of money too but it was the only thing that worried me in the past, this time I'm going for upright 650l so it has to be secure.

i brought a brand new hiace last year and instead of drilling the floor i made a steel frame that fitted to the 4 anchor points already in the van floor than welded my tank to the frame saves drilling the van floor and makes it very secure ( hope you understand what i mean)

I wondered about that too. Wasn't sure if they were strong enough. Certainly beefier than any Citroen points.

Well I got it today and have been trying to plan it all out. I couldn't decide what to do about the Vinyl floor so I lifted it out to take a look. Good job I did - it was saturated underneath already  ???
Turned out the person who fitted the roofrack forgot the rubber seals and so water has been pouring through the bolt holes. The vinyl is only stapled to some thin ply anyway so it's not a lot of cop for our needs. Trying to find some Protectakote in a hurry but without any luck.
