i just go by what i think is workable weather dazmond, it probably depends on my mood, amount of work and other factors too!

but my general rule of thumb is light to medium rain, wind & snow

weathers i wont work in therefore include heavy rain, snow, wind & freezing temp (due to water freezing on glass like last winter) oh and of couse thunder & lightning!

it looks bad for the rest of the week though as well!ive only got one days work in this week(monday)and that was working in the rain!! ::)

ive got a conny roof booked in for tomorrow morning and loads of 4 weekly and a few 8 weekly cleans to do this week as well!

think ill go for a swim soon and chill out round the flat then today.

im used to keeping my round bang on time the last few months due to wfp but im going to get behind this week even if i work all day saturday and the rest of the week.

on well nothing i can do about it at the moment!!

regards

I pressure washed a supermarket roof in it, all week - lovely ;D ;D

Didn't need to move the cherry picker - the wind was doing it for me ;D

Got another one tomorrow - happy days

hi mate
had some blustery weather in essex as well - and other day there were times o thought should i be risking this the pole was bending like hell at times but then i done some easier windows on house and when wind died down just enough to carry on.
personally i wouldnt write a whole day off id persevere and if i had to wait weather out for half hour or so then so be it if it meant getting few jobs done and some dosh for the day. as tomoro i optimistically expect to pick up more work so like to be ahead if poss not behind.
an optimist takes the tartare sauce with him when he goes fishing -

dry today (Midlands) but pretty windy - not helped by the fact that we were on top of a huge hill. Pole stood up to it fine ;D

light rain is not so bad but too heavy and I run for cover! No point getting soaked as it dosen't always last too long anyway.

Fit a swivel on the brush head, that way you can lean the pole into the wind to clean the windows.
SL modular pole is like flying a kite in gale force winds, but fun. ;D
