[SB Cleaning]

Hi all,
I have just been to a custys house for their second clean (WFP) and on one of the windows was a big milky run, now i scrubbed and scrubbed but it would not shift, so i assumed it was on the insides i told the custy and he said he would check later, i got a phone call later saying it was on the outside so i said i will come back tomorrow to sort it, what would this be and how can i shift it???
The custy was fine about it thankfully, i also know the windows which are UPVC are only 3 months old.
Any help hugely apreciated

try and scrap it, see what that does, as could be sealent which as run and dirt stuck too

What would be good to scrape it with Darren??

Iits an upstairs window over a con so a ladder is a no no

i have a scraper and a unger pole and use that,  u shoudl be able to take the brush off ur wfp pole and put scraper on it and use that

Can you buy a scraper with a thread to go straight on the pole mate??
If so where could i get one??

i use a unger one and it just fits on the end  doesnt need to be screwed on,  try wintecs

I have just phoned the custy to say what time i would be coming to do it and he said its all fine he has scraped it off with his fingernail he said it was more like a sand/concrete and i think he is putting it down to the new windows going in, i said i will still come out and go over it again but he said it was fine and see you next time!!

It was only that window on quite a big house the rest came up mint

What I was going to say was be really careful using a scraper at that height off a pole (in case you scratch window) especially if you weren't responsible for the mark...

It could be an old limescale mark, which is caused by there not being a "drip" above the window. So when it rains the water just washes down the window.

Doubt it......sounds like it was from the installation, if thats what the customer said
