sebo bs36 switch
« on: September 01, 2010, 08:19:20 am »
Hi guys,
my sebo bs36 packed up yesterday and i think it may be the switch. Is there any test i can do on the switch before i order a new one  ie continuity test etc. My electrical repair man is good and cheap but i would rather do it myself if possible. I've checked the internal wiring and all seems to be ok.

Any thoughts.
Ben.

Ben it could be any number of things. Why not let him sort it. You could buy a switch and waste your money.
One thing you could do is test your continuity on the mains lead as these often break internally due to wear and tear.
