Shoulder blade pain
« on: August 31, 2010, 10:08:10 am »
Had some pain in my left shoulder blade for a week now. Started off just a little bit here & there... soon went on its own. Then a few days ago it would only go with a couple of ibuprofen. Was hanging the washing out this morning and its just got worse. Had a couple of ibuprofen and after an hour they hadn't touched it. Got my wife to put on some ibuprofen gel... But it feels like its getting worse.

Have made an appointment at the doctors, just wondered if anyone else has had this happen to them ? Even rolling a some ciggys for the day was painfull.

sounds like a pulled muscle, u will get pin killer and told to rest

i have back pain and keep getting told it was a muscle prob,  after been examined by the oz it turns out it is the joints that i have a problem with and should get  a new job, as the lifting is doing my back no good,  am lucky if i can get 2 days a week in now, as am tired all the time with the pain,  spoke to the dss and had a medical and got told there is nothing wrong with me and should be fine to get any job going,

The doc has given me some tablets to take for 10 days and to use ibuprofen gel on it... If it isn't sorted then he wants the physio to check it out. Turns out I don't have the same movement range in my left arm and my muscles aren't developing as well as my right arm.
