I've caught a customer really enjoying his own company; that was funny.

And I've caught a nurse customer of mine topless sunbathing; that was fun.

I learned the job doing schools for the Inner London Education Authority.  We had to do them inside and out and we did the insides jumping from desk to desk while the kids were in the classrooms.  I did a whole row and then stepped down off the last desk.......straight into my bucket :-[  The kids thought it was hilarious and the whole class erupted in screams of laughter - I couldn't get out of that classroom quick enough ;D ;D

In a different life I sold word processors and I was doing a demo to 5 women and their boss at Wiltshire Social Services who were looking for a machine to "roll out" to all their offices and replace their old typewriters. So an order of about £5000 plus ongoing orders and maintenance contract and supplies was at stake.

It was in the early 90's and having only had sedentary sales work and eating too much rubbish I was a big old bloater.

So I'm setting up in this anteroom with a big table at coffee table height and I carry in this word processor which is basically a massive typewriter with a computer screen - bend over and RRRRRRIIIIIIIIIP! my trousers go from waist to crotch.  ;D

It was a sweltering day and I kept my jacket on throughout the demonstration and making sure that when I bend down to the keyboard I bend at the knees so as not to show off my Primark specials!

I don't know "whether they knew" and were too polite to say anything - but I got the order.
It's a game of three halves!

I was out canvassing the other day and pushed a doorbell that wouldn't turn itself off. It just kept ringing and button was stuck in. I kept fiddling with it and eventually managed to turn it off, but in my haste I turned it back on again accidentally. It was really loud too. Eventually I got it to stop and a really old guy stuck his head round the window and just glared at me. I smiled and did a hasty retreat.

I've done that as well. Really hurt and jarred my back in the fall. The owner of the house seemed to think it was my fault and I should be more careful.
