Hi to all old and new,

I am looking for a new light pole currently using a 18ft xtel pole and homemade harris pole - the harris pole is much lighter but I would like a professional one of same weight or even lighter with clamps instead of twisty like the harris which dont last long as top section collapses!?

ive just bought a 22ft clx and its fantastically light and can be used for downstairs work as its only 4ft 9in collapsed length.

£126 inclu VAT and delivery.50% glass fibre/50%carbon fibre.

long enough to reach over most conservatories/flat roofs on run of the mill work and fairly rigid.coupled with a supalite brush and it hardly strains the arms and shoulders.

i could really feel the difference at the end of the working day today.less tired and a lot easier on the body!also i was faster getting through my work!a no brainer really!!

But you've only been WFP for a few weeks  Better off getting opinion of someone whos been using the tools for a few years for a more balanced view.

Yes but he has tried as many poles in a few weeks as I have in a few years. Impossible to find anyone who has used a clx for years as they are new to market.

that price for the pole - was that with brush ect... cuz the price you say is more online.

no brush martin i got a free replacement supalite mono as the one i bought the other month was a bad batch(bristles frayed after 2 weeks!).

ambient ive been wfp for 10 weeks and bought the xtel.used it for two weeks then bought a 25ft hydra alloy and have been using that for 8 weeks.i also have a 30ft unger teleplus and a short pole made up from a unger optiloc!

the clx is lighter than the hydra/unger and xtel and its a very light user friendly pole for standard domestic work.and for the price i think its a great buy.

i will be ordering a 25ft SLX when i next want a pole!!
