Are you sure you got treatment rick - or is it public liability.
Just PL usually excludes what you working on, but if you elbow the ming vase you are ok.
Treatment risk specifically covers for your work on a carpet/rug/upholstery.

Defo treatment risk.  Public/product liability and seperate all risks policy, supposed to be for carpet cleaners?'m sure I must be missing something. These things are never in plain English!

I've sorted the insurance thing, wrong policy! Phew, I am covered. Hopefully I wont need it. I think I am going to have a battle on my hands though, even if I get it back. On the armchair there is a big ink mark I couldnt remove. Could be a case of any excuse for an insurance claim!

If it's viscose velour you have ruined it and no way back. If it's not then you should be able to wet it and reset it,

In future I would test clean and dry unless you have done many sofas and even then test. You don't see that many about now but they might be making a comeback. :o
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.
