NEWBIE REPORTING 1ST MTH
« on: August 15, 2010, 06:26:50 pm »
Hi Everyone this site has been a great help  , thanks to you all, and I hope to add some stuff myself in time. There been some great banter on here too which good light relief. got a pure freedom van mount system with two poles one of which needs main tenance and repair after doing a soffit, facia and gutter facia clean today which i hugely under priced of 25quid and took 3 hours - its was a back breaker on  4bed detached house. wont make that mistake again now i know why you guys charge 25-30 a side. though did wonder how you work tfr or upvc cleaner on it as i just used the pure water. any way would wlecome any comments and pals to have some banter with coz noone in my family is a windpw cleaner and therefpre cannot relate to the highs n lows lol.

Welcome to the forum mate

We've all under priced things, thats how we learn. Keep with it. ;)

thanks guys appreciate the re-assurance - and yes also under priced a conny roof on so called self cleaning glass that took for ever to clean. and the facia job today left me with pole that now needs fixing. but loving the freedom.

merseyside and bromsgrove must be tough to operate competition wise and rates? worked on both those areas in past (when i was repping plumbing gear) -the guys were really canny and drove a hard bargain to do the deals.

Other half has been window cleaning since 1988 and still occasionally under prices - don't worry about it! :)
