if you have RSI the course of action is rest. DONT take the anti depressant .  this statement sums anti depressants up ...............I spent 18 months on high doses of anti depressants and although it was a difficult 2-3 months getting off them,......................... your best course of action is to go and visit a physiotherapist who will give you diagnosis on your problem and prescribe the best course of action .

Matt - aren't tingles in (especially) the left arm one of the possible "heart attack" warnings? How old are you?

Gold I am 34 nearly 35 mate.
one thing I can't get my head around is the fact tingles/pins and needles can be a trapped nerve or restricted circulation, and given my family history and the fact I have high cholestorol I would of thought it was the latter of the 2 not the former.
Why they can't send me to a respitory/circulation specialist to have it checked out properly I don't know.

I was thinking the same thing  :o

Matt the amitriptyline are fine they take a little while to get into your blood stream, depending on the dose you have been given I would be carful as high doses near on knock you out they stop the nerve pressure though, I have them for my neck/back.

only down side I found when I was on them was I hated getting up in the morning and was a little knarky first thing. I only take/took them at night to stop spasms in my back

I have not had to have any for over a month or 2  ;D (I touched wood)

Hope you get it sorted soon fella ;)

Ian

Thanks Ian

I am thinking of going private and see a specialist.
