Any one useing this Brodex pole, and are they any good? Also comments on the Hydra carbon at 36ft will be appreciated.
Ive had a Prolong elite for about 2 years and still works well, lousy goose neck but changed to a smaller one.
I uselly buy from Gardiners but just been told that SLX and Super max are not in stock for two weeks.

I've got the Brodex 36ft aluminium and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's far too heavy to use as an every day pole especially at maximum extension. For one offs it's fine but you'll feel the strain of using it. If I'd known what it was like I wouldn't have bought it and saved up a wee bit more for a carbon fibre pole.
