Home made dragonfly

Has anybody else made their own ?
I had a go last week , its ok , needs a bit more thought , i really need to get a nozzle that puts out a really fine mist , cant seem to find one ,
Im currently using a gardena irrigation mister but its just too much .

The face plate was a laminate floor mop cut down , and i just pop on a microfibre cloth which is held with self adhesive velcro , im finding that as the cloth is thin it is causing drag across the glass , i have seen the real VIKAN product and it seems a deeper pile if you like , maybe i will bite the bullet and buy the real head and cloths .

But i still need  FINE mister , any ideas ?

Look for a water misting nozzle the type view use in America to create a fine water mist for cooling people down they use them outside hotels etc as an outdoor air conditioning, I don't know exactly what there called but will try and find a link

Heres a uk company.

The mist spray nozzle that is on the dragon fly I think is priced at £45.00 But where you buy it from I am not sure.

I have a a dragonfly. Good but over priced.

That is precisely what you need, but you can't use them in any sort of breeze as it just blows the mist away.

Try this link.

I find that the flat pad drags on the glass, so use a microfibre cloth or scrim on a cut down applicator handle. The unger version I found in my local homebase also swivels - makes it much easier to use.

it is held on the pole like this, very simple. it does look flimsy, but it is solid, no movment at all.  i think the reason for this is, the ettore gold has lines engraved in the pole, so the track on the ring grabs into it, so maybe a smooth pole may not work,
