Back again !!! 
Machine has started to leak again,not a great deal,but any water leak is a worry !
Checked the input and output on the pump,and they seem to be dry.
So that leaves the pump head,now i was told that if the pump starts to surge,i should shut it off and adjust the pressure release valve,i did this in Woodbridge`s car park,when they repaired the seal on my pump.The pump has been running fine,just steady pressure,no problems what so ever,just the leak.
So decided i would call Prochem this arvo and just go through the procedure again.
I was told the machine was never designed to run that pressure pump,ok i get that,but was told i can adjust the valve,yes you can,but that will only be able to cope with 140 psi max,when fully adjusted.
Ah ok,what about the pressure switch on the head of the pump,that can also be adjusted,but i am going to be playing a game of trial and error,when i don`t want and can`t afford any error !
I have basically unscrewed the threaded part of the pressure release valve as far as it will go,but now the pump is running constantly,instead of getting too pressure and shutting off.
Should i try adjusting the pressure on the pump,or risk trying to get the bypass valve thing right,bearing in mind that i cross threaded the dome nut,and spent a good half hour trying to re-cut a new thread for it

No Mark, a machine that is giving so much problems is not much use.
How you put up with it for so long I dont know.

Mark as you know i have tried the flojoe pump, they arte japanese garbege, get a shurflo 135psi from williamson pumps for £135 Inc vat and you will have no more problems. I sent Flojoe back to you know who, saying trading standards said they were not fit for purpose and got a full refund.

Really,that is interesting,i grabbed the pump head earlier,and it gave me a buzz,something is not right,i have a rebuilt Sureflo as a spare,going to clean my carpets tomorrow and if it`s still dodgy i will replace,seriously looking into the Alltec machine,but as i am paying £400 a month to the rev it`s going to be a struggle

Funny you should both say that,while i was there waiting for them to fix it,i was looking round the office,there were flojo`s sitting on every available space,all had been returned faulty !!
Does not bode well really.
I cleaned my carpets at home yesterday,and it was working fine,didn`t drip at all,i think i have undone the pressure valve a bit too much though,as the pump just keeps on running,instead of stopping when it reaches pressure,not sure if i am going to re adjust it,or just leave it alone.
If it gave me an electric shock,water must be getting into the motor end surely? I had a white towel under the machine the other day,and where it was dripping it`s turned it an orange brown colour,may be a reaction from the fib and fab rinse,or something from inside ?
Going to use it up until just before warranty expires then send it back i think,well that`s if it lasts that long

Sounds like a liabillity the machine mate and maybe its time to tip it am afraid..

Caint see how you can work with a set up thats always on the blink

Just put a Shurflo 135 psi on for £130 from Williamson pumps, job done mate
