Yes I bought item but after auction closed, as his winning bidder let him down...  or did he?!?!

If you were the win  bidder and you were let down then there is action you can take via Ebay/Paypal.

If you were not a win bidder but struck a deal after the finish outside of ebay then I think you are on a sticky wicket.

How did you pay?   If by PAYPAL then you may still be able to sort.

If, as he says he was, carpet cleaning in Wallasey, Liverpool then thought it a possibility that someone on here might know him or the failed winning bidder - either way information is power and at the mo I have diddly squat - paid cash like a prikc - only redeeming factor is maybe I left myself open for this poopuation cos been so knackered after my best ever fortnight...!!! lol  not....

Stu first of all have you recived the item ??
2nd did you bid on ebay for it and was given what they call a 2nd chance offer this is not uncommon on ebay.
Or did he contact you or you him outside of ebay and did a deal if so sticky wicket.
