Thanks blue frog. I am in the process of starting up and am planning a door knock and leave card with potential clients, but I'm aware that this business is quite terretorial. I don't want to step on toes or am I just being stupid....  ???

Your just being stupid mate ;D

Few rules I've stuck by that have never got me in any trouble...

1) Don't undercut...
2) If they want a quote and have a windy, that's fine, but don't ask what he charges
3) Be polite on the door... People like that.... I always say 'thanks for your time' if I have had a no.

Good luck with it Darren... Let me know your email and if I get anything your way ill pass it on (jpbradley@uwclub.net)

You going trad or wfp ?

I work in pershore ;)  Dont worry about patches or that rubbish. If I have done my job correctly it doesn't matter if you knock any of my customers you'll get a polite no thank you! Two places you could try are Besford court - they were looking for a windy a few months ago (was chock a block so had to turn them down) and I have no idea if they ever found anyone. If you dont mind traveling a little then try great comberton.  ;)

I have a large amount of work that i might be thinking of selling thats not to far from you, all on one estate, prices vary from £10 - £15 per house, all WFP all been done by me for the past 8 -9yrs.
Probably about £1500 - £1700 per month with big potential to get even more.
Would be looking at 5 x monthly as its all good work.
