TM blockage or not
« on: May 26, 2010, 07:54:43 am »
My truckmount starts and runs great.I do a few rooms then turn it off to spray and let dwell some other rooms but on trying to restart sometimes it goes blank on the key start altogether or starts then stops almost straight away.Eventually after emptying the waste and leaving it a few minutes it starts fine and runs fine again.I have not done enough work to fill even half the waste tank but it seems to be dribbling out of the tap before i release it.Any ideas boys(i have the steamway 9100lx and it has been well looked after)Regards Alan

Hi Alan
Don't switch the machine of when pre-spraying. Just turn the pump off and put the throttle to idle speed.
I know that machine better than anyone else. 5 - 10 mins idle will do it less harm than keep start/stopping the machine and the fuel you use is hardly any.

Thanks for that Mark I was up at alltec awhile back and missed you by a day so Pete the engineer said.I am just about getting the hang of this machine now.It seems to take me ages for the most simple function to stick in my memory but i use the truckmount whenever it is viable.Working in Oxford can be a real mare with some of the tight old streets so just cant get to some jobs and always try to use my thermadry machine on flats.Anyway i assume your beast is still purring along nicely.Regards Alan
