Myself and 4 friends will be taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge in June.

If you've never heard of this, it involves climbing the three biggest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scarfel Pike) and Wales (Snowdon)....all in a day!  A total ascent of 11,178ft! 

Our chosen charity is "Help for Heroes" and we are trying to raise as much as possible.

All the best for this sounds a great challange although the driving sounds more of a challange than the hike.  Do you do much hiking?

Snowdon and Scafell are easy.  Not done Nevis but aiming for Sept to go over.

Good luck, I did it in 1996 with a group of three others, started at 6pm at Ben Nevis and remember climbing Scafell at around 2 o'clock in the morning, sun was just rising when we got to the top, got some stunning photos.

Finished Snowdon at 2pm then stopped overnight in Caernarfon.

in answer to your question NO i havnt done any hiking until february this year ive been training hard in the gym, running cross country and hiking up and down big hills near where i live (allthough not too many around here)
Not looking to the travelling between mountains but hey ho.
