18 feet - Internal Window Cleaning
« on: May 19, 2010, 06:57:55 am »
Hi guys,

We did a one off showroom the other day. It was the first time it had been cleaned in years.

We used traditional methods with a ladder and a mop and squegee. It took around 4 hours. That included mopping the floor as the floor is White!!!!. Sills.

Now I was wondering is there another way so we did not need the ladders. As we have been asked to clean on a regular basis.

Thanks

Dave

I have heard the dragonfly is good, not used one yet, but some of the guys on here might have. You can buy one from facelift.....

Hi

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have seen that today.

If it works, even at £500 quid it would be a worth while investment.

I have not used one and would like to know what the results are like? Correct me if I am wrong but iuts just microfibre?

Am I missing something? How does that dry smear free?

I cleaned a showroom yesterday too, in pretty much the same condition as they'd just decorated it and the windows were full of plaster. Thankfully they still had a scaffold tower all set up that I was allowed to use - how thoughtful ;D
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

If you have enough room in the showroom to use this why not use a telescopic pole

http://unger-global.com/pro/eu/pdf/media/unger-pricelist-2010-en.pdf

and you could use a vice versa on top of your pole which you can find in the above pricelist

i have used the vice versa above didnt like it much the ones that the squeegee is facing the window as you apply the soapy water is much better but thats just my opinion. :)
