Complaining Neighbour
« on: April 21, 2010, 06:57:07 pm »
Cleaning a top floor flat with wfp and have a neighbour who lives below but not directly below who complains that I'm getting one of his windows wet!! These flats have 25 windows in them too. he is quite happy to shout out the window but when I went to see him and offer to clean the offending window he was as nice as pie and said no. But he still goes off his nut every time I go round, The flat is worth £12 so I don't want to loose it. What do you do with someone like this?? I don't want to tell him to *****. We are in Scotland too so it's not as if it ever rains here. >:(

He may be after his at a cheaper rate which is why he is always complaining, how many windows are you getting wet? if its just the one then offer to clean it for free, that will shut him up ;D

It is one wee window, probably in the hall. He is just being a pain as I've spoken to the customer about him and he complains about everything.

Again, I have offered but he said no. I guess I'll just have to put up and shut up. Cheers :)

Yes i do a couple of upstairs flats, and the folk downstairs complain that i am wetting their windows and sills.

I just tell them that it will dry without leaving any marks, if they complain again, then the owner of the business is always right, and that they should go boil their heads.
