These sort of floors account for about for about 75% of my work. They can be stripped back if there is a sealer on them, cleaned with a strong alkaline, and then resealed and a polish applied. All with Aquamix products as a rule (though I do use other stuff too). As for scrubbing, generally a red pad is enough - black pads can occasionally take the tops of old tiles. As Andrew says, they are porous, so need time to dry before sealing.
