picked up my new van today(renault kangoo) and thought ill easy get some roof bars from halfords thinking £50-£60.they only had one part and said id have to go to st helens for the other bits and it would cost me £110!

i thought sod that!and stormed off!then i went to a roofing place i know:NO ROOF BARS!so i nip up to halfords in another place and on the way i goes over this speed bump and i catch the front exhaust on it and it snaps on the bend on the front pipes so my vans blowing like mad!! : :

so i nips up to a local kwik fit and wait an hour and half for the part to arrive and fit it £105 for a little front pipe!then i goes to another car part place and manage to order a roof rack for £50 but cant pick it up til at least dinnertime tommorrow!so another day off work and the suns been shining all day here!! : :

on a good note i get 2 phone calls!one off a posh bird who wants me to price up her country house and ive picked up a small commercial job monthly(£60 first clean/£35 regular monthly!

oh and my free vistaprint 100 glossy full colour leaflets came today!so HAPPY DAYS!

theres always something that will go wrong dazmond 

halfords dearest place for anything car related.

You should of went in and bought the two roof bars for about £15 each, then ONE fitting kit for £30ish....

nipped out to the van, empty the fitting kit & go back in with the empty box demanding a refund or replacement

ive always managed to get a good roof rack from halfords for £50-£60!never goin there  again if i can help it!

as for the empty box trick im too honest for that malarky!and not that crafty!!

We used to have a big citreon relay Lwb so when we got lazy and couldnt be bothered to climb on the roof we just threw the ladders in the back.
