Relax people.
Snow is the norm right up until May in this country - it is all part of Spring.
Large areas of high pressure to the north and south of the UK means that atlantic weather fronts are squeezed through a narrow channel of the country - these are fast moving and often heavy bouts of rain followed by warm, sunny interludes thus 'April Showers'
As a consequence if any area of cold air is dragged over the country by the high pressure to the north the rain bands may hit the cold air and fall as snow. However you have to remember that the sun is higher in the sky as we go through to the end of April and is considerably warmer which mean snow rarely settles and if it does is thawed within hours or even minutes.
If theres one thing I have grown to respect and understand being a window cleaner and that is the weather - best not to get mad at it but read up on it and its quirks.
Don't listen to the media hype about snow - you'll all be fine!
