Hi Jonnyald mate, I thought I had better start a new thread instead, just to acknowledge your post. :)

Yep that is me, I decided to delete my old account & start from fresh! I don`t mind admin knowing who I am & where I live etc, but I had right bad run in on here with someone anonymous a while back, & the new forum changes now reveal your personal details in your profile, which was not in the T&C`s when I first joined.

I have had a couple of set backs, but I am taking the plunge tomorrow full time! So I am going to hit the canvassing hard, including the weekends, & hopefully It won`t be too long until I can put some money aside for a WFP.

I have been having a drive about to some posh areas, but the trouble is there are so many properties with leaded or georgian windows with sloped roofs, & I am not sure if should be canvassing these aswell really?

Many thanks.

Ian.

sorry to hear somebod was hassling you on here, and i wish yer very good luck when you do hit the streets

personally id knock at any old house, big or small ,ive found council houses to be really great earners but iv learnt not to take on winos. ./ leaded or sloping roof is no big deal  as long as youve a small pole to fit your squeegee on(pole from off your ladder is easy ), BnQ  do a great selection of poles  and just take your time mate, its suprising who will see you when you are working and come over and ask you . take plenty of old rags/towels or scrim with you to buff up any leaded, drape rag over end of pole and buff to reach if needed  /  a lot will be very dirty first time around  and always accept a cup-of-tea and later they talk to their friends and it grows like a mushroom ,i promise you  ;D
