Is it right or wrong to use wfp on a busy high st, when it is patently clear that water will freeze soild on the pavement.

Haven't used my wfp for a few days now,due to freezing hazards. Gone back to trad until it warms up a little.

Nah , it was me Dave , you should have seen M & S this morning -7 i had the feckers ice skating to work  ;D

I fired up the L5 and attacked the display window , it froze before it hit the ledge , time to get the rat tail out  ;D

On a more poz note though , i sorted the internal displays out , was a bit of a hoo haa about smears  ???

Turns out it was the window dressers with their soap solution to stick up the new banners , amateurs !!!!!

No Dave not one of yours.

Not just one firm though. I have to say it again "What a dumb thing to do".

We were scratching about picking up anything we could indoors. Everybody had the door done in and out today. Standing under the door heaters was bliss.

We hardly spilled a drop, and even then salted it. Headed round the corner and the pavement was a sheet of black ice, where numbnuts had done 3 shops wfp at 7 this morning. Then saw another one across town doing the same.

Don't worry, you can be sure whoever it was learnt how to stop their system from freezing so they can keep working by reading the tips on here !!!

I had a load of shops & a couple of pubs to clean wfp yesterday, but didnt do any of them, because of the risk of the public slipping on the frozen paths,

I dont see why anyone would need to use wfp on high street stores regardless of weather.
