About to buy a toyota hiace van second hand to replace clapped out escort van has anyone had one (hiace) if so are they any good

I've got one, and I love it. I've got the 2.5 diesel, 2.8 ton. Its a tad slow but drives pretty much the same with a full tank of water as it does when it's empty. Try and get one with a tailgate and not the barn door version as its alot easier to work with. Enjoy!! ;D

Just to agree with the other replies....My mate has had 2 from new and swears by them, but keep the oil changes up (as with all diesels)

great van only gripe is fuel costs ,dont get much more than 80miles for a score these days
