What RO do you have? How long have you had it? How often do you change the filters.

I would advise against using 14 ppm, alot of guys on here will tell you otherwise, but I never use anything but 000.

Never used that system, mines a merlin.

I need to change my filter every couple of months, it is constantly on though.

I use 2 in series so I'm never throwing away good resin.

I find that it can go from 001 to f***ed in less than a day so it's not worth risking it.

When my resin is chuffed it tends to look really dark, almost black.

if di only - i find that when you get 001 - 004 ish tds - just give the vessel a good shake or roll it round a little and it will go back down as you are opening new channels in the resin - doesnt work for long but if you can get another 200 litres from doing that then cant be bad.

i would say your resin is the problem especially if its been stored in the vessel in a garage for a year. either that you are putting the water through the wrong way

Resin goes off quicker than a lot of people think.
014 should be a problem if you give the windows a lot of rinse.
any marks left with water of a TDS 020 and below would be invisible to the naked eye.
personally I change my resin once it hits 005-007.

I've never heard of resin going off before, I normally store 6 months worth, never had a problem.

I'd go with the other guys, give it a shoogle.
