Time per sq metre
« on: March 31, 2010, 08:40:04 pm »
Has anyone ever worked out how many sq m an "average" cleaner should be able to do in a hour for basic vacuuming and mopping? Been asked the question and am struggling to come up with an answer as need to factor in fatigue, breaks, moving from room to room etc etc

Thanks

Jason

Sounds a difficult one, how much furniture, what type of carpet..and with mopping depends on the amount of soiling on the floor etc..

Indeed hence my challenge! I told him I would base it on just desks and chairs with the normal quite wiry office carpet (no idea what its actually called!!) and for mopping just daily mopping so not a huge amount of dirt I wouldnt think. Toughie though!
