Just researching the idea and looking for feedback direct from the industry and as all business ideas you need to get the most accurate information in as little amount of time to make the project a good investment and the initial web link i had nothing to do with this was automatically setup by the CIU systems and missing the http:// bit.

Totally understand vetting the new bloke on the forum, hell I would.

google ranking is the key on this  ;) you do have a flaw in what you want to do, I do the same but on a small scale and am happy to keep it small, if you window clean and your areas not taken on my site your welcome to try it for a year  ;D

Every week I get nuisance calls from cold callers trying to flog me a listing or advertising. They're all the same, waste of money.

Now this is my initial idea but would like to put this forward to window cleaners around the UK for questions, ideas and comments etc as I have very strong promotional and marketing skills that allowed me to put three other local windows cleaners out of business and attempting to sell me their clients.

Oh right.  So you want some help do you?
How about getting a copy of "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie?
Not sure I really want to help someone who's happy to brag about putting people out of business.
Maybe a few others will though.

Being 'misunderstood' on a forum while claiming to be a marketing expert!!!

The first rule of marketing is getting your message across clearly and succinctly - you've already failed at that, not looking good..........
