be carefull its gonna be illegal to clean windows on ladders soon!

Hi Clee,

Please can you be a bit more specific, such as showing us when the government passed this law, & the date it will come into effect?

Hi again clee,

I thought I would start a new thread about this, just incase you don`t read my question to your post on the decent insurance thread!

Please can you answer this?

The HSE has stated that you can still use ladders even though the whad 2005 and 2007 is worded that you cannot.

The HSE will not care how many times you use ladder, but god help you, if someone is hurt of killed using them, they will not throw the book at you, instead they will launch the whole library.

Don't forget you can now be sent to jail as well as been fined £xxxxxxxxx plus costs

Your insurance company will also jump ship and declare your policy void.

Hi,

I am going to be working as a trad sole trader, & I have no intention of taking any silly risks. I won`t be going any higher than first floors, I will use anti slip devices, & I also have a extension pole.

Once I have an established round & better finances, I will then hopefully be able to afford to rent somewhere to purify water & go WFP.

Thanks for Daz, Tosh & Pure Hydro for being specific with facts, but I have to say that I think clee should not be stating things like,

be carefull its gonna be illegal to clean windows on ladders soon!

If he can only back it up with

theres a post somewhere about new regulations,or something like that.
