Hi
just set everything up but keep getting a dead end on hydroflo, when i dont have the hose pipe conected their is no problem then when i conect the hose again dead end, its a new8mm 100m hose and reel with a hoselock fitting (could it be the hoselock fitting)
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem could be the internal pressure, i think you have to set it by, holding down a button when you switch on or something like that.
Have you got the instructions.

we have the instructions and so what we set it to we keep getting de. think the problem is after the pump because if we take the hose off then we dont get de

you need to alter the internal pressure to compensate for when you fit your microbore

I think you press the return button twice for the pressure switch dial.
If you press it once you get the volts of the battery i.e. 12.4
I have a similar flow controller but my one is from purefreedom.

to adjust the internal pressure then press and hold both the up and down arrows at the same time this will then give a number on the display using the up button increase this number untill you stop getting the dead end symbol to return to normal function press up and down buttons at same time again, i hope this solves the problem for you.

Could be a number of things I've had it happen before cant remember why now though :
Check your pole hose isn't twisted or kinked inside the pole try blowing through it, check your wiring I've had connectors melt before so the controller wasn't working at full voltage, try the microbore without a connector, or the microbore could be kinked on the reel.

thanks for your help these are brand new hoses i have undone the hose and no kinks there, will have another go tomorrow.
