pushbike!!!
« on: March 20, 2010, 05:01:08 pm »
custy told me they see someone using water fed poles in cambridge ,pulling a smallish tank around behind his push bike. First thought what an idiot, but actually he is a flippin genius. Cambridge is crud for traffic loads of push bikes already, theres nowhere to park a van for residential work and there must be a client base nobody can otherwise be bothered to do from a van mount. And we all know work that nobody else wants to touch because its to much aggro can sometime be the most profitable

very very clever.

I think it is a great idea in the right situation. Areas with massive parking problems would be ideal for this. I think it might also be popular with domestic customers.

I spend about a tenner on fuel a day...if i could bike around mine i probably would. Imagine how fit youd be to!

I reakon you could tow around 70l easy, reel, pump and battery and pole.

Cool bike! I can't imagine it being used to tow a trailer though.

ive looked into this they do ice cream trikes which are perfect to convert for our use with a 125l tank and an electric motor to assist in hilly areas.

i would do it if i had a compact round , if nothing else its a fantastic marketing ploy

There was a fella near me that had a huge adult go-kart with a trailer. I think he was doing gardening, & there was a launch story in the paper, but he must have packed it in, becvause you don`t see him anymore.

funny enough i was talking to a local guy to me, and we were chatting and i mentioned the cost of fuel and said it would be ideal on a bike

most of my work is within a 1/2 hour bike ride

more profit for me and it will help with fitness

I know there are some bike trailers rated to 130kgs plus, so it might be possible, but it would be hard work.  ;D
