I had my 1st days training yesterday with Roger (Doctor Carpet) and as someone told me last week. Learnt more in one day than a month of traintng courses could teach me. Defo worth a couple of beers at the end of the day. Got a little worried that I might be a bad omen when we got to the 1st job just to be told the house had been cordened off by the police for forensic testing. But after that. 5 jobs, "2 moddest houses and 3 near mansions. Saw several types of upholstery carpets and staining, with the outcome each time being a very happy client. The main lesson of the day must be how to sell oneself. Many people on here said to watch how you do it and they wernt wrong. Nearly every call turned into a booking. Thanks for everything Roger.
