i had one made in ally at a local firm who make anything in metal, charged me £75 and apologised for it being a bit expensive!  he made it from that stuff that has an embossed surface for a better grip. it's not heavy but i tend to only take it out when i know i will need it to save space in the van,

hardly use mine, 3 times a month maybe, had a job friday and it wasn't on the van so did it anyway, no one complained. suppose you have to have one though just in case, better safe than sorry.

i always use mine if i am working in a very busy street, say a high street or shopping area, never use it down an 'ordinary' road,

I dont have a tm but before christmas i walked out of the dentist a guy was using what looked like to me 2 bits of arris rail the stuff you nail the feather edge to fences they were painted yellow with black stripes.
