School Reports
« on: March 11, 2010, 07:49:34 pm »
After the comment I made earlier i thought just for a laugh what school reports did you get that have in some form have come true?

I remember my English teacher saying to me during one lesson (in which I'd switched off - yet again) that all I would be fit for would be working for Pickfords.
How strange all these years later I end up moving furniture around as part of the occupation I've chosen :o

I switched off too, If they did say what I would become I never heard them, lol   ;D
Neil what did you think you would be,  I wanted to be a mechanic, I did two weeks @ Rover, and all they wanted me to do was make tea and wash up. I think it was a sexist thing as blokes are no good at either, lol ;D

I got thrown out of my home ec lessons, for forgetting my t towel, and on one occasion i went round the class, and turned everyones oven up to full !
Ended up being a chef for 18 years.
Got chucked out of my english lessons for argueing with the teacher, got ungraded for that exam,in the end.
French lessons ,didn`t work,as the teacher was too weak, and we used to take it in turns to make her cry  >:( ,was speaking about this at work one day to a young lad we had as a pot wash, turned out it was his aunt, and she had a breakdown  >:(.
Science lessons were taken by an old world war 2 pilot,we used to just get him talking about the war.never did do any work.
Do think about what a c you next tuesday i was at school, and i feel pretty bad about it,but looking back i was just trying to get someone to notice, and ask why i always came into school covered in bruises
What goes around comes around

I was destined to be a pilot, top sets for everything with outstanding reports! Then my parents split up, I started getting bullied at school for it ??? I bunked off and had my final 3 years fishing for salmon instead of going to school.... I'm good at fly casting now though ;D

I have no regrets and I'm not bitter, in fact the only thing I would change if I could, would be to have changed my fly less often and invested in a landing net ;D
