« on: March 08, 2010, 08:02:52 am »

I am looking for a few ideas for my sign writing on my new van if any body can give me some input!!

To be honest my last writing on my van was a litttle rushed and i felt didnt really stand out or give out the right signals :-\  so any help would be accepted  :) .

what colours really stand out for example? How much writing should i really have on ?

My van sinage was rushed and I've never really been happy with it... I'll do some photo's later and you'll see why.

I want a cartoon picture of a "Cleaner Shrimp" to catch the eye.
With something along the line

"Days Deepclean"
"Professionally Cleaning"
"Carpets" "Ovens" "Sofas"

Well there's certainly a large area to cover....

I have this habit of looking at every single sign written van for idea's and I've come to the conclusion that less is more..... Big bold letters, big phone number and maybe a very memorable website address!

I shudder when I see a van with say list upon list of what they do because it bores me and probably bores a lot of other people too.

I think it's Mike Halliday that has a van with zoo animals all over it... Completely irrelevant to carpet cleaning but I reckon it's a very clever concept because it is memorable and eye catching..... I bet kids tug at their Mum's arm when they see it and mum reads "Carpet Cleaners" and thinks "Oh, my carpets need cleaned.....!"

Its a good large area to cover geoff.

Think with some time and thought you could do some really good eye catching ideas.

It took me nearly a week to decide and kept changing from one idea to another so decided to keep mine simple and eye catching.

Didnt want to go down the road with dying times or other stuff people dont read.So decided with the cartoon man and carpet cleaning in large letters
