After being let down with the berlingo im going to look at a doblo tommorow,are they anygood?
are they big enough and does anyone else use them for window cleaning?

i had mine 4 years. The turbo sensor went after 38k but it was a 25 quid part so nothing major. Very comfy but never big enough. I have a hiace now.

ive got one 08 plate great van 400 lt tank in it had no problems. and i can carry trad gear. two hose reels and 4 wfpoles 1 extendable 4ft ground floor pole, 1 18ft extel 1 30ft slx and 60 sl2. will try to add pics later

New Doblo is out this week and do a 1000kg payload, so fantastic, we have 5 fiats and all fantastic, I know years ago used to be fix it again tomorrow, but superb now.

Trad gear and a gate ladder (1.8m) inside
payload 736kg

I've fitted a towbar too.

Go for the SX - it has side doors and they are v. useful for getting stuff out.

Mine is only the 1.3 multijet turbodiesel but it's fine and manages 400L well and I get over 40mpg round town. It's got a trip computer thingy. It is also cheaper on tax and its GVW is exactly 2000kg and so you can drive at car speeds (be careful because the 1.9 is about 2020kg and so restricted on dual carriageways and A roads.

I don't know about the new model but it looks good and a bit roomier again.

The best of the "small vans" IMO.

is that true about not going full speed on a carriageway?
I have a vauxhall combo at the moment and theres not much difference in the size of the 2,so surely trannys and a lot of other vans are restricted?
 I see them going 90 plus on carriageways.

What you can do and what is legal are two different things.

If your van is not "car derived" and or a GVW of over 2000kg then you are restricted to:-

Dual Carriageways with 70mph limit - 60 mph
Single Carriageways with 60 mph limit - 50 mph

i know a few surfers who have VW t4's and t5's as day / campervans

1 of them has been done for doing 68 mph on a dual carriageway, when he posted it on a forum we use, people were shocked as they didnt know

the t4 and t5 are of course commercial vans

like i say i have seen many big vans going 90 and above so not gonna worry about that and if i did ever get pulled up,i will say im sorry but i had no idea.
 Is there much room for your poles in the back.
