Malc gold ..... about your butt ring

Malc, I seem to recall you had an slx and took a section or two off for everyday work.
Where did you source your butt ring from? Can you get different sizes.
I have just purchased an Smax 44 but haven't decided yet at which stage to break it down.
I could give Gardiners a call and order some spares I suppose.

No I daren't google "butt ring" I'll be deleting my history feature all night  :o

Maybe "end cap" would be a better term.  ;D

I went to B&Q and got a couple of table leg ends/ferrules. You need smaller ones than the end cap provided by Gardiners as it is two sections smaller - if that makes sense?
