keep half a dozen clean ones in the van and change them when they're dirty. You can dry them on your van heater but don't use them dirty. probably get 4 -5 houses out of one.

Take half a dozen out as stated before.

I can get through a day on a few by alternating them and letting them dry as im using the next one, and just change when its to wet to work well.

Wont take too long to get to a point where you dont use them a lot at all.

Yep 2/3 scrims max when you learn how to squeegie properly take your time and perfect your technique and you will have little or not detailing to do

Personally I use a sill cloth to dothe mucky work then only detail with the scrim!!!
      eg:-
      soap window with me mop,
sill cloth (microfiber tesco own 2 for £2 ish)
wipe the gasket and frame all in one wipe, (yep tradman cleans frames too)
      leave a 10mm boarder/wipe mark on glass
blade off window with slight dog ear on the channel,
slight detail with scrim if required,
wipe sill with sill cloth then moove on to next one

sometimes only 1 or 2 scrims a day

      Good luck fella!.

Don't use your scrim to wipe over the frames or sills. Just to detail only. That way your scrims last longer.

Hmmm i used to use the wifes knickers  as well but that was years ago when C & A were a popular high st store, and of course the C & A label came in handy to let you know what colour of stains you were dishing up on the glass, you didn't use clean ones did you.
I'm totally WFP nowadays, that's Wifes *anny Pads  :-X
