Ply Lining Van
« on: February 07, 2010, 08:18:53 am »
Does anybody know where i can get this done up north on east coast. Its a combo van, year 2000. Have seen kits but all seem to be for year 2001 upwards.

I always take the ply lining out of our vans.  Once they're Protektacoted, I don't like covering it up again, and certainly not driving screws through the Protektacote to attach the lining - water will track along the fixings and rot around the threads.

I put loose ply sheets on the van bed to save the Protektacote from gouges and regularly lift them to give the van bed chance to dry out.

The older vans have the curved bit above driver & newer shapes are all in one if that makes sense & all the ply lining kits seem to be for the newer vans.
